Senior Analyst
Yuchen Xue conducts research on the evolving tobacco landscape, focusing on industry changes in China. She also performs quantitative and qualitative analyses of relevant datasets, including surveys, government data, company reports, and publicly-available research.
Yuchen has a strong background in statistics and is skilled in extracting, cleaning, analyzing and visualizing data. She also has experience developing regression models, as well as predictive and forecasting models.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Yuchen worked as a Data Management Intern at Universal Processing LLC and at China Academy of Telecommunication Research MIIT. In these roles, she demonstrated a refined ability to organize and analyze data. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Stony Brook University.
