Programs Manager

Position Objective:

The Programs Manager will collaborate with members of the Agriculture and Livelihoods team to develop and manage grants as well as innovative financing structures, with a specific focus on diversifying smallholder farmers away from tobacco to other crops through a structured value chain and anchor farm development approach. The manager will contribute to the development and implementation of country-based strategies for improving on-farm productivity, diversifying livelihoods, encouraging innovative agriculture science, technology, and innovation, and improving realized value for smallholder farmers and the agricultural sector in southern Africa and beyond.

Position Objective:
The Programs Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring that project grants are successfully implemented for the Foundation’s Agricultural Transformation Initiative (ATI), in full compliance with the Foundation for a Smoke-Free World’s strategy, regulations, and policies. In addition, the analyst will inform the structuring and implementation of the grants process, identifying and vetting prospective partners while ensuring that grant proposals conform to solicitation requirements and that grantees fulfill program objectives.

Finance Manager

Position Objective:
To oversee the financial and accounting requirements of the organization and ensure that grantees of the Agricultural Transformation Initiative (ATI) have financial and administrative systems that are successfully set-up, appropriately documented, and robust.
