Global State of Smoking Poll 2019 RFP
The Foundation announces a request for proposals (RFPs) to conduct a poll about smoking across a range of countries (Greece, United States, India, United Kingdom, Norway, Japan, and South Africa) reflecting different cultural, socioeconomic, and tobacco-regulatory backgrounds. The poll, compared to the Global State of Smoking Survey that was conducted in 2017, will include larger participant samples (10,000 to 100,000 participants per country). The aim of the poll is to shed light on current smoking behaviors, awareness, and consumption of alternative nicotine products, as well as beliefs and perceptions in terms of harmfulness and addictiveness of different nicotine products. To contextualize the findings that will emerge from the poll, it is critical to characterize the participants in terms of social environment, socioeconomic status, and educational level.
The RFP document provides the following details:
- Desired end product
- Scope of work
- Geographic focus
- Estimated duration
- Application process
- Expected qualifications
- Proposal structure
- Evaluation criteria
- Submission instructions
The Foundation will evaluate all submitted proposals and select one organization that is best qualified to conduct the poll. Upon contract award, the Foundation will commission this poll.
