The Foundation is calling for proposals to develop and implement a $3 million, 3-year Agricultural Transformation Initiative (ATI) Fellowship and Scholarship Fund intended to support postdoctoral fellowships and graduate studies for developing country scholars at a globally respected university. The initial focus of support will be on Malawian scholars.
Disciplines must be pertinent to agricultural transformation including, but not limited to, the agricultural sciences, applied economics and natural resources, business and entrepreneurship, and technology and engineering. Additionally, they must fill local knowledge and capacity gaps and contribute to overall economic development, growth, and transformation in the qualified developing country.

The Foundation will evaluate the submitted proposals and choose one qualified, globally renowned lead university to establish and manage the fund.
